A message from our founder

Recently, we saw a collapse of Western culture through the lens of counter-culture censorship in countries like the US and Great Britain. The United States’ neo-capitalistic world led to the creation of traditional oligarchy rule in illiberal democratic states. I recently quit my career in research to aid in the “cultural healing” of our shattered communities after realizing trends that signaled the totalitarian rule fictionalized in works like George Orwell’s 1989 and Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World.

With a liberal arts education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I was fascinated by my courses in the social studies. It allowed me to see society from a distinct perspective as a traditionally “hard” scientist. With a robust background in studio arts during my adolescent years, I used my interdisciplinary knowledge to create impactful art and designs under ELEVEN FOOT EIGHT LLC. These were complimented by the strong crisis leadership skills I acquired during my fraternity presidency during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now that the volatile market has started to reorganize into something more sensible, I wish to use this opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and create radical, disruptive designs. My current focus is on low-impact sustainable designs (e.g., Soup truck with built in rehabilitation and food waste programs). I believe, true change must involve cultural change, and I hope you will consider contacting us with ideas or opportunities that can further benefit our communities.

Sincerely,

Harrison Qing-Yuan Liu
